French designer Maia Gysens showed her first solo collection, Sabine de Brumes – ‘Swim & Dream Wear,’ at LA Fashion Week Spring 2013.
Taking place at the famed celebrity hang out, the Standard Hotel Downtown LA, on the roof top by the pool, the Sabine de Brume runway, was framed with lights from the skyscrapers of Downtown LA.
Models walked the runway draped in 1950s inspired black and white print swimwear with matching black wigs to the sounds of “Sea Lion Woman” by singer Nina Simone.
