During LA Style Fashion Week 2013, I was introduced to the extra-ordinary fashion of Kenya-based designer Nike Kondakis.
Rarely do I have the pleasure of meeting designers like Nike, who take their craft to the next level – truly achieving original pieces with materials like recycled parachutes and peace silk (silk gathered without killing the silk worm).
As a designer Nike mixes elements of couture and ready-to-wear, creating pieces that one can wear in the daytime and out to a club with a pair of high heels.
