During the 2012 Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani debuted his Spring 2013 collection, a collection that seemed to draw inspiration from the outer space B-films of the 1950’s.
The runway opened with a series of looks done in metallic shades like mercury and shimmery grays. Giorgio showcased his mastery of female form in silver sequined gown that spoke parties outside under a starry sky.
Adding to the futuristic look of the Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 collection were a series of prints done in an abstract sci-fi theme.
The collection was saved from being completely Avant-garde by the presence of wearable pieces like tailored shorts, and fitted blazers in black and charcoal combined with flowing navy blue chiffon dresses.
