The Fashion Book – Must Have Fashion Bible
Part of the reason this book is an essential must have volume for any fashion library, is it has everything fashion related in one place. When I say it has everything fashion related I do mean everything – the book is a visual narrative on every designer, model and photographer you could possibly need to know about.
With 576 pages, the book captures the last 150 years of the fashion world starting with Charles James and ending with designer Alexander Wang. Each page is like a piece of fashion, crafted to contain important fashion facts highlighted with a giant color photo. At the bottom of each page are recommendations to other fashion topics that might also interest the reader in the book.
One thing I enjoy about this book is that it not only covers the standard fashion icons like Anna Wintour and Ralph Lauren, it adds people like David Beckham and Oscar Wilde.
