Last night marked the ‘official’ start of Los Angeles Fashion Week Spring 2014 at the W Hotel in Hollywood with the launch party of ‘Art Heart Fashion’ an event that provides runway space for designers who treat their fashion as works of art. ‘Art Heart Fashion’ is the brainchild of Erik Rosete, the Creative Director of the fashion brand – Mister Triple X. ‘Art Heart Fashion’ is making its new home at the Taglyan Complex.

One of the fashion designers present for the launch of ‘Art Hearts Fashion’ was the ever fabulous Jason Ryan.

As a designer Jason is known infusing his creations with what I like to call a ‘ Urban Spanish Matador’ flair. The male models accompanying him are wearing his line from last year. I don’t know if I would wear his pieces, but I must admit they certainly turn those male models into delicious eye candy!

As I wandered through the dapper gentleman and the glamorous fashionistas in attendance at the 2014 ‘Art Heart Fashion’ launch party one designer’s gowns truly captured my attention. These glamorous gowns are the creations of designer Jaime Elyse.

As a stylist I can say I would love to see Jaime to move into designing bridal gowns as I believe her elegant, yet sophisticated design ethos would lend itself perfectly into this fashion genre.

Some of the Dapper Gentlemen in attendance last night were the notorious lads behind the brand The Skinny Executives – Alan McCune & Enrique Godoy Ynzenga. They like to call themselves ‘Lifestyle Connoisseurs’ perfect lads to plan all your affairs from fashion to travel.
